At any time you can enable or disable Feeds.
To do that go to "Options" screen and click the menu item "Configure Feeds".
Then you can use the check boxes to enable/disable Feeds.
When you disable a Feed, all the news from that Feed are deleted and the Feed will not be updated from now on.
When you enable a Feed, the next time a "Refresh" is done that Feed will be updated.
